Focused work

Focused work

No doubt we’re living in a very distracted world. Therefore focused work becomes more rare. While we get distracted and we also distract others. With all the available theology we are used to get the necessary information fast. So if we want to find something out, there is Google. (Love this Reel from Marie Forleo, just for fun). If we want to know what our friends are doing, there’s FB and IG and other platforms. Through Whatsup you can connect with your contacts in second. You get the idea.

"While technologies seems helping us a lot, focused work suffers because of it. We seem to spend the days more in a shallow flow of accidental occurrences rather than deep and meaningful quality performance." - Agnese Rudzate

I’ve said it before and will say it again: spending even 2 hours a day in focused action is a hard work. Unfortunately we tend to decrease this time while making it harder for ourselves to flow in it.

The good news is that there are many things you can do about it. Your work quality depends on your focused action, it’s undeniably important to increase the focused work for your benefit.

Good News #1

Flow generates happiness. Your goal is to achieve the FLOW, where it seems like the time stops and you can just go on for days without a pause. Ideas are flowing and you’re inspired to continue the work – that time when you really are producing value. It stretches you while rewards at the same time.

To go into this focused state of work you will have to turn off all the distractions. I have wrote many articles on the topic to give you a spectrum of ideas on how to achieve that. Every interview that I’ve done Distractions seem to be the common theme. Couple of examples below to get you started.

a. Increase Your Work Performance with 3 Simple Tactics (Brainz Magazine)

b. How to Stay on Task And Avoid Distractions  (Lifehack.org)

c. How To Slow Down To Do More (Authority Magazine)

d. “Stop using too many tools” (Thrive Global)

Bottom line is that you’re in charge and you have the power over all the aspects in your life, including distractions.

Good News #2

Focused work is rewarding in itself. In 1980 study that psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (yes, I know, can’t read that either) and his colleague Reed Larson concluded was against what most people believed to be true:

“Ironically, jobs are actually easier to enjoy than free time, because like flow activities they have built-in goals, feedback rules, and challenges, all of which encourage one to become involved in one’s work, to concentrate and lose oneself in it. Free time, on the other hand, is unstructured, and requires much greater effort to be shaped into something that can be enjoyed” from“. I have came across this wisdom in “Deep work” by Cal Newport. It Is a book that I suggest you read.

Good News #3

You already have everything you need. Be aware of your mind playing tricks on you. Remember that you are in charge of your mind, it is not in charge of you. Motivating yourself by feeling the outcome of your focused work, will keep your mind in check for the goal.

Our mind is a tough little cookie that has enslaved our bodies to keep it safe and comfortable. As soon as something out of ordinary happens, it wants to keep us in a safe distance form the unknown.

Your job is to train your body to follow your mind and not the other way around. Most of us live by following our bodies urges. That creates our routines and down the life goes without even realising that master has become the one who gets mastered. Taking charge of thoughts will open whole new doors for focused work.

As focused work becomes more rare in our daily lives, it also becomes more and more valuable for quality. While it is nothing out of ordinary, it can bring a great discomfort when working on increasing the focused work time. It is definitely something that will stretch you, but by concentrating you will loose yourself in it.

Let me know how the focused work goes for you. I hope you loose yourself in it.

xx

4 step method to help you decide if you should call a meeting

How to get in control of external triggers and why?

external triggers

Let me answer the second question before we dive into  “control” part. However, I’m pretty sure you already know the answer. With the information overload, it’s not surprising that our minds get busier, therefore we get more tired and exhausted. We are targeted every time we’re on our devices. Notifications innocent agenda to keep us informed has turned into a major issue to our productivity. Because all they do is puts unnecessary information in our heads. They distract us from focused action and take our attention away from truly important tasks.

If you have seen my posts and read my previous blogs, you know that it is our decision to allow distractions to interfere without daily lives. You know that discomfort is what keeps us reaching towards distraction because we simply are designed to avoid pain.

In short, hacking back on external triggers allows you to be more attentive, focused, present, productive, and such a better manager for your business and life.

    1. Control your gadgets. Although we couldn’t imagine our lives without them, they can highly interfere with our focus. Disconnecting can leave a devastating effect on your business, however, you don’t need to be “connected” all of the time. Choose wisely what deserves your time, energy, and attention. Leave the rest outside the door.
    2. Control your calendar. You are in charge of your daily routine – whether you want it or not. I know that it might not always be easy to accept that. Once we decide to be in charge, there is no one else to blame for whatever goes wrong. We are fully responsible. The beauty of it – freedom. Suddenly you can change course and give yourself permission to say “no” to things that are not in alignment with your goals. You can schedule tasks that are of strategic importance to your business growth without defending your decision.
    3. Control your mind. This is the tricky part. Often we don’t realize how big of a part our mindset plays in our daily lives. Our actions are often triggered by us trying to avoid discomfort. However once we step outside that come place – growth happens.

"We have the control over the time." - Agnese Rudzate

I hope my formula helps you get more clarity around your control of the outside triggers. At the end of the day, you are in charge of everything that is happening to you, including outside noise. Even though it might seem that it’s unavoidable, a constant fight with it will not result in your favor. This is why it is smart to look deep in yourself to understand why certain things trigger you more than others. Only that way you will be able to get fully in charge of those external triggers.

I would love to hear from you – what triggers you the most from outside? And how are you dealing with it?

4 step method to help you decide if you should call a meeting

It’s truly life-changing once we start to honor our time and stop wasting it on activities that serve us very little.

One of those activities are meetings. If you’re a coach who is on their way to level up, communication with your team is your daily necessity. However, there is a big difference between time well spend and time well wasted.

If you’re a micromanager who likes to know and be in control of everything that happens in your business, it’s time to switch a few things around. It’s great and necessary to be informed of major aspects, but not everything is important enough to require your presence and involvement at every level all the time.

If you’re a high achiever, you know that productive action matters when it comes to reaching your goals. So does effective communication. Unfortunately organizing and attending meetings is a big waste of your time. Especially when the task or issue could have been solved with a quick phone call or email.

Here are a few suggestions to keep you responsible for your time and help you decide whether the meeting is necessary or it’s just another way to steal your time away:

    1. Are you clear on the situation? If the answer is “no”, then hold off the meeting. What you need to do instead is to create a plan. A strategic approach to a situation will save you time and help you get clear on agenda. This process will give you a clear idea of what to come and what to do about it. If the answer is “yes”, move on to the next question.
    2. Do I need others’ input to make progress? If there is something blocking you from making a progress, then move to the next question. However, if you feel that can get on with the situation yourself, there is no need for a meeting. All you have to do at this point is dedicate time in your calendar to get going with the work.
    3. Do you need to have a real-time conversation to make a progress? If you do need help from outside sources, establish whether you need that support in real-time. Maybe an email would work just fine?
    4. Do you need to meet face-to-face to make progress? If so, you have reached that point when you need to organize that meeting. If it’s not the case and you know that message or a phone call would love your problem, go for it.

"Organizing and attending meetings is a big waste of time." - Agnese Rudzate

It might not always be easy to decide who to invite to a meeting. Especially when an important decision needs to be made. Inviting too many people, or people who cannot help you reach your goal can cause major ineffectiveness. To determine whether a specific person will serve the agenda of the meeting, ask yourself these 2 questions: Do I need input from this person? Will this person add value?

If you’re not an organizer but have been invited to a meeting, there are a couple of things you can do to save your time:

    1. Ask for the agenda. If a meeting doesn’t have one, there is no need for it to happen in the first place. This is a great sign that your time in that meeting will not be spent on strategic goal achieving plan creation 🙂
    2. Encourage collaboration. Trust that your team is strong enough to handle situations without your constant presence and involvement. Encouragement and trust will reward themselves and show up in your time freedom and more effective teamwork.
    3. Ask for meeting notes. If you want to be informed of the situation, meeting notes is the best way to save yourself some time, but still, be in the loop of what happening.

I see a lot of time wasted why coaches who want to squeeze every precious minute out of the day. If that is the case for you start by doing a little inventory of where your time goes and how you could minimize unproductive activities creeping in. Join us at the Less is More program to create an effective communication system!

I would love to hear from you if you are a “meeting” person and how meeting impacts your time freedom?

Why do coaches keep struggling to take productive action and how to fix it?

Why do coaches keep struggling to take productive action

There’s a big difference between taking action and taking productive action. The only secret there is lies in our intention behind our actions. That’s it. That is your answer to the unproductive action you’re taking to keep yourself busy without any clear return on your time investment.

There is nothing wrong to scroll through Facebook if that’s what you intend to do. However, when you mindlessly swipe one reel after the other it’s when innocent minutes turn into wasted hours.

Here are a couple of reasons why you keep struggling to take productive action when running a coaching business:

    1. You have a to-do list. Yes, that’s right! Having a to-do list is highly ineffective and distracting. If you choose to have one, it’s your responsibility to make it as short and focused as possible. If you choose to never create one again – simply schedule the actions you have on your to-do list into your calendar. That way you will assign time for important tasks and eliminate what is not actually serving you.
    2. You’re afraid of leveling up. And that fear is keeping you unproductive. Maybe you don’t even know it yet, but unconsciously you are making decisions that keep you in your comfort level. Nothing bad with that, because you are in a great place. However, if you want to reach that Next Level of success, you have to be willing to commit to changes and stretch yourself to grow.
    3. You know and do everything. Yes, there are a lot of coaches who wear too many hats and “think” they know how to do everything better than anyone. While that might be true in your mind, it’s time to invite more trust int to your management system. Doing everything by yourself is not productive, it’s exhausting. Time is precious, so are your other recourses (money, energy, ..). If you think that you’re saving money by doing everything yourself, you’re right. But other resources like time and energy are fading at a lightning speed. It’s all about prioritizing well enough so you can enjoy a great balance of all of your recourses.

"Doing everything by yourself is not productive, it’s exhausting." - Agnese Rudzate

Taking action is fairly simple. Although many struggle with that and tend to procrastinate, make excuses, and waste time by doing trivial tasks. It seems so simple on the surface – just do it! But what to do when “just do it” doesn’t work?

Spending even a couple of hours a day in focused action is not an easy task to complete. However, there are few proven methods that will support you.

    1. Reconsider deleting your to-do list and never creating one again. If you want to know more about my theory on this, please have a look here: The great benefits of deleting your to-do list.
    2. Work on your pain. Your inner tigers highly affect your actions. When we feel discomfort we tend to avoid the task and lean for distractions. It is our inner pain that causes us to waste time. Fear of getting hurt is one of the biggest natural reactions in our bodies that try to keep us safe. However, there is very little growth in “safe”. Stepping out of the comfort takes time and dedication. But it’s possible through your courage to lead by example and create an even greater impact with your talent in coaching.
    3. Trust the process and your team. Even if you don’t have one yet, because “you can do it all”, doesn’t mean that it’s the best way for you to move forwards.  Especially if you’re planning to level up as a business owner hoping to change more and more lives. Meditations have helped me to ground and trust the processes around me, and I’m sure they will help you too. Business growth is not possible without technical improvements, team building, and leadership growth. It’s all part of creating an impact that is far greater than your imagination.

"Change is not scary, it's necessary." - Agnese Rudzate

A lot of components need to come together for you to be able to manage your time with confidence. But it is not as scary and complicated as it might seem. With the right support system, technologies and guidance anything is possible. I mean it!

I would love to hear from you in the comments if you are willing to try one or a couple of my suggestions to fix unproductive action? Which would you choose?

What’s actually behind well managed time?

What's behind well managed time

The way we manage our time depends a lot on our will, dedication to certain goals and our decision making. It’s our biochemistry that sets the tone when it comes to prioritizing certain tasks and choosing to procrastinate on others. That’s why no productivity app or time-management hack will make you efficient in your work for long term. These are quick fixes that can be very useful to support you on your way to well managed time. But in order to manage tie efficiently, first we need to know what biochemical processes are behind our will and decision-making.

"You can only gain from a little brain science." - Agnese Rudzate

According to science there are 3 players in this game – serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. They are largely responsible for the intensity of attention, mood, decision-making, success and motivation.

Serotonin

It’s one of the major, leading hormones and neurotransmitters stabilizing our mood, and defining the feeling of well-being and happiness. Many cognitive processes, including mood, thought, learning, memory, depend on it.

Serotonin cannot be found in nature in a ready form, meaning that we are not able to directly take it as a supplement. It emerges when tryptophan (an amino acid found in food) reacts with tryptophan hydroxylase (a chemical reactor). But eating tryptophan-rich food alone is not a sufficient precondition for it to transform into serotonin.

Sufficient levels of serotonin largely define the power of mental energy essential for meeting a particular target.

Dopamine

It’s a neurotransmitter (messenger) that plays several important roles in the brain and body. It sends signals from the body to the brain. Dopamine plays a crucial role in feelings of pleasure and reward, as well as self-satisfaction and success.

The importance of dopamine is in shaping mood and motivation, as well as in the sustainability of decisions made. It has a great impact on a person’s ability to concentrate.

Dopamine has 5 major receptors, who are responsible for memory, attention, and decision-making as well as for the formation of emotions, impulse control, attention and sleep.

The comfortable level of dopamine in the human brain largely determines the capacity of mental energy needed to perform a specific task.

Norepinephrine

Or noradrenaline, is a chemical substance naturally found in the human body, acting as both a so-called stress hormone and as a neurotransmitter. It is released into the blood as the brain perceives stressful events. (It doesn’t matter whether there is an actual, objective danger. The subjective sensation of danger plays the main role.) As the body responds to stress, norepinephrine impacts the brain’s ability to pay attention and react to events. As a neurotransmitter of the central nervous system, norepinephrine somewhat defines one’s degree of consciousness and attention.

It is really hard to successfully manage your time, to identify your goals and implement them without comfortable, balanced levels of serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. The lack of these neurotransmitters is what causes feelings of inefficiency, weakness, apathy, confusion, and despair, as well as the absence of motivation.

In medical terms, the imbalance of dopamine and norepinephrine levels is associated with a wide range of mental disorders, that is, when our mental state that doesn’t allow us to rationally evaluate the present or future.

I know it’s a lot of science, but I hope it gives you a better perspective on what’s actually behind well managed time.

Was it helpful?

xx

How to Delegate the right way

Delegate the right way Agnese Rudzate productivity strategist mentor coach

Stop feeling guilty and start trusting others.

I’ve been there myself. I felt like I don’t deserve to even have things that I could potentially delegate or outsource because I thought that it would make me less of an achiever. My mind said that I should be able to do all this by myself, but my brain new that it will lead to constant overwhelm and overwork.

Delegation can take many different forms, and each option depends on your business and your needs.

"Whatever system you choose for your business it needs to be able to grow and change as your needs grow and change." - Agnese Rudzate

The two most common ways are to hire an employee or outsource to an independent contractor such as a virtual assistant.

To avoid my trial and error along the way I want to introduce you to a couple of points to take into consideration when planning to delegate and help you to figure out what is best to outsource.

Why delegate?

By delegating you’re not only giving yourself time to focus on your most vital business activities, but you’re alleviating some of the pressure of always doing everything yourself.

The big starting point is TRUST.

Delegation requires trust and that is something that for many women doesn’t come naturally. Plus it is even harder to build trust when you’re overloaded already. And to be sure that your money is well spent (because you are paying to whoever is completing your delegated tasks), you need to understand the technicalities of those tasks.

To be confident in your delegating decisions, there are a couple key elements to delegate the right way

  1. What to delegate?

Remember that you are paying for this, so make sure to delegate important, well-defined tasks that are bringing results.

      • Let’s be honest – you are not a genius at everything. The good news – you don’t have to be. There are so many people other ready to help, dive deep, and really make it for, all you need is trust in them. So first take a look at your business processes and notice what doesn’t bring you joy. No one loves every task equally, and if there are things you find yourself avoiding because you just don’t like doing them, it could be something you could delegate.
      • Things that can’t be automated. Anything repetitive can be automated, which saves not only time but also money. There is no pint on waisting someone else’s time and your money on things that you can give to an internet-robot helper. If technologies scare you, you’re not alone, but the good news is that everything is figuroutable as Marie Forleo states.
      • Things that can’t be eliminated. This might sound scary but is crucial to greater success in time freedom and business profits. Did I already mention that you are wasting your money and someone else’s’ time by delegating unimportant tasks that doesn’t bring real results? Not everything is important, not everything needs your personal attention and not everything is supposed to be on your shoulders. Take some weight off by clearing your business activities from unimportant tasks.

2.  Whom to delegate?

You might already have a small team or at least a Virtual Assistant. What to keep in mind here is that each team member has different strengths. By learning those along with weaknesses will highly increase their work efficiency and quality. You want for them to perform their best because this is your business we are talking about.

"Successful delegation, to someone who’s ready and able to complete the work, will help you build trust for future assignments." - Agnese Rudzate

At the end of the day, you and your team are the ones building your business. I probably don’t have to remind you that it is crucial to choose the right team. Be specific in your requirements when hiring, ask for a specific skill set to be sure they will meet the requirements for the job to be done smoothly.

    •

3. How to Delegate?

Crystal Clear Communication is key here. I’m convinced most people to want to do a good job, but they may need to know what you consider to be a job well done. This means clearly articulating exact steps from start to finish and explaining what are your expectations as far as each step of the process. If you can get clear on that, preferably in writing, then you can give them something to look out for if they have questions. A face-to-face explanation is great, but write directions can hilly save your time and misunderstandings.

Now, are you ready to delegate?

Let me know down below what obstacles you have had to overcome before delegating?

And I would love to hear what are you most likely to delegate or outsource in your business?

Here’s to taking charge of our time and getting clear on our strength to be able to delegate areas of weaknesses.

Quite the opposite – boring and complete waste of your time, knowledge and experience that could be used to bring real tangible results to the company instead.

As a leader it’s your job to show you know better. Be sure to use delegation to grow your business rather than as excuse to create more movement without clear results.

Watch my video where I talk about the importance of eliminating before delegating.

How about you? Are you assigning important useful work that not only saves you time, money, but also brings results?

I would love to hear your experience with delegation and how it has affected your business profits and time freedom?

To wise choices!

9-5 Illusion

Agnese Rudzate blog posts 9-5 illusion productivity organizing focus

9-5 illusion

Stepping out of society's framework to take your own way

Many women in the coaching industry that I have spoken to about their own entrepreneurship beginnings have struggled to define their work structure. Things like

- How much should I be working?

We might feel free without the boss telling what and when to do certain things, but complete freedom leaves us unproductive, overworked, sleepless and burnt out eventually. Structured freedom is the way towards productive work if you want to achieve more in less time making the most income in that time frame.

- What is the best way to plan my day?

Without a clear plan, there will be a lot of multitasking, a lot of uncertainty, procrastination and tasks switching. Again, super unproductive.

- With what to start?

So often we have hundred ideas and hundred to-do tasks on our list. We want to do everything, because everything seems important, just to realize at the end of the day, that not much has been achieved.

All these are valid questions, concerns and occurring patterns that block potential.

It was easy to know what to do and when to do things when you had your 9-5, because you didn’t have to figure it all out on your own. There was someone who told you the rules. All you had to do was to follow them (even if you though that some them are nonsense, waste of time and completely stupid).

"If we have 8 hours to fill, we fill 8 hours." - Agnese Rudzate

Our society is defined by a 9-5 framework, by perception that you have to work long and hard to be successful. And then, when you are working less and notice enjoying it, you kind of almost feel bad or ashamed so you hide it, doing meaningless stuff just to fill that time. Because that’s what you’re supposed to do!

Think real hard if you really need 8 hours to

Do you need 8 hours to….

- become who you want to become?

- feel good about yourself, feel worthy?

- to show others how hard you work?

Or maybe it is the time you break those status que’s and start valuing your time for real!

Start focusing and doing ONLY what brings results.

Start prioritizing your most important tasks.

Start delegating tasks that don't require your genius.

Start decluttering your environment and mind to achieve results fast.

You don’t need 8 hours. Society needs you to work 8 hours so they can approve of you. Dare to challenge yourself and step outside your 9-5 mindset.

What would you do with that extra time on your hands?

Would you start another project?

Would you spend more quality time with your family?

Would you travel places?

Would you dive deep into self-care?

Once you get clear on how you will fill your free time, it becomes your best motivation to create that for yourself.

Give me a YES, if you want or are stepping out of society’s perceptions of what valued work should look like!

I would love to hear your experience starting your journey and braking status quo.

If you are ready to break the statues quo by working the minimum and still running a striving business, join Freedom Business Formula today to get a discount!! Together we will make 4h work days your reality.

Here’s to our own journeys that shape our success in the way WE want!

Have a lovely week!

5 ways to keep life and business simple

5 ways to keep life and business simple Agnese Rudzate Coaching Productivity for business owners Blog

5 ways to keep life and business simple

Increased happiness and income from simplifying things

When distractions cut down on your productivity it’s easy to get overwhelmed and switch focus on unimportant tasks and start consuming more than creating. This is when SIMPLE moves away and COMPLICATED comes in giving you more of what you don’t need – frustration.

Here are 5 ways how you can make your life more simple today

  1. Declutter your home – get rid of anything you are not using. Don’t keep things just to have them with a thought that you will use it some day. That day might never come, so be wise with the stuff you fill your space. Because your space is important for your wellbeing. The less clutter you will have, the more at ease you will feel. Here you can read my blog and watch a video on How to Declutter your Home for well Deserved Clarity.
  2. Organise your workspace – keep things where they belong so you don’t waste time trying to find them. The same applies to your computer and phone. To help you do that here is my free audio on How to Organize Anything where you can learn 3 steps to less chaos.
  3. Cut out time wasters – step back and analyse a bit what takes your attention away, what stops you from completing your day’s goal, what gives you that feeling at the end of the day when you have done a lot, but haven’t achieved anything meaningful. If you need help in quick self-audit go ahead and read my blog about 7 Habits that Wastes Your Time.
  4. Get rid of distractions – while there are a lot of things that distract us every single day, we are not without fault here. We are the ones letting ourselves get distracted thinking “it will just be a minute” turning out to another hour of wrong focus. Here I explain how to Tackle you Distractions to Gain Back Your Focus.
  5. Make to-don’t list. Doing less of the things you shouldn’t be doing will highly increase your productivity leaving you with a more simple and stress free life. To help you make one, here is my take on what should be on that list.

Last, but not least, learn to say “no”. Prioritize yourself. You can’t do everything. Find out what’s really important to you and focus on those activities.

"Find out what's really important to you and focus on those activities." - Agnese Rudzate

If you need help in getting to more SIMPLE life in business, join the course Freedom Business Formula and together we will double your profit and time freedom.

Do you believe that Less stuff is better? That Stuff in general weights you down?

Let me know in the comment of you think that living a simple life gives you more time for the important things?

I would love to hear your takeaway and any suggestions to simplify life.

To more simple life!

7 habits that wastes your time

7 habits that wastes your time Agnese Rudzate productivity organizing coaching Freedom Business Formula

7 habits that wastes your time

Learn how to create more time to do things that matter

In days like these (“Where did the time go?”) your time was probably eaten by many distractions. To stop yourself from getting distracted and pulled different directions, it’s important that you attach value to your time.

By using your time wisely you will have more of it for things that matter to you, like spending time with family and friends or pursuing other projects.

Set yourself up for success by eliminating these 7 time wasters and you may find you have more time than you realize.

    1. Notifications on your phone. Those who have been around here for some time know that I keep encouraging everyone to turn off all their notifications on the phone. That “beep” sound distracts you in fraction of a second, but unfortunately it takes much longer to get back in to your creative flow after this innocent “I will just quickly check-it might be urgent”.
    2. Open email all day long. For better productivity, you should set certain times when you allow yourself to check emails and ti should not be more than 2 times per day. Seriously, it is enough times (Im talking from experience). Like this you will not only save time, but will be able to focus better and process more emails in less time.
    3. Multitasking. You have probably heard about it, but let me remind you again. Trying to do more than one thing at a time actually diminishes your productivity. The human brain simply isn’t designed to multitask. Let me explain. Your brain slows down as it switches between tasks, with takes more time and makes you less efficient. Focusing on one thing at a time will make you more effective – better results with fewer errors.

"Multitasking is shifting between two or more tasks without really focusing on either one. This leads to errors, time waste and stress."- Agnese Rudzate

4. Scrolling through Social Media. BIG waste of your time when you use it for personal use. You get sucked in to random posts only to realise that another 20 minutes have passed without creating results for your future. Mind your own business (literally) and create before you consume. When used effectively, social media can help boost your business and increase sales. But be careful, because constantly checking your news feed or looking to see how many people are following you is eating away at your focus and time.

5. Keeping your work space messy. Disorganized work spaces highly wastes your time because your focus is pulled in different directions, it’s hard to find things you need and, let’s be honest, it’s not a pretty look. Take all the clutter away leaving just the necessary for productive work. When everything has a place, you’ll be able to quickly find what you need and move on to the next thing.

"Your disorganization is wasting your time by making it difficult to find anything." - Agnese Rudzate

6. Taking too many breaks. This is new to me, as I am that kind of person, that forgets to take a break instead of taking more than I should. However I have discovered that this is a habit for many making results hard to reach. The problem with this habit, you end up lingering and never really get your focus back. Schedule your break to keep yourself in check and focused.

7. Working when exhausted. I’ve been there. It’s not pretty or healthy. All it does is creates more exhaustion, more mistakes and less quality. You may end up facing burnout. Do yourself a favour and make sleep a priority. The time you spend resting will pay off when you’re awake and ready to take on the world.

"Do yourself a favour and make sleep a priority." - Agnese Rudzate

Once you are clear on what wasted your time, create a to don’t list to get clear on things you know you should not be doing. Here are my suggestions on what to put in there for less distractions and better productivity

Let me know how are you handling your time wasters and feel free to suggest how to make more time freedom.

Here’s to more quality time.
